“Hay if for horses, grass is for cows. Milk is for babies and not for fat ladies.” Have you ever heard this? I’ve never taken it to heart. I love milk. I try to drink it every day. It used to be, I was reticent to drink it while I was traveling, but not anymore. I think it’s pretty safe everywhere, or I’ve just accustomed my stomach to strange foods and drinks..not sure which. I do love seeing the milkman delivering his goods. It’s just such a peaceful and green idea.

Tea is another one of those things I love. Just like salt, if there are tea fields, a tea shop, or other tea stuff…I try to find it. This lady diligently worked and worked picking the tender green shoots as I shot her in Kerala, India.
Getting a little peckish on our way into a Keralan town, we passed many of these mouth-wateringly fresh chips. We couldn’t help but by some, and boy were we more than a little surprised that they were not potatoes….but bananas. I have to say, more savory than sweet, they were absolutely scrumptious. Try them if you get the opportunity!
