We’ve been flying in and out of San Francisco for more years than I care to count, and almost every time we do, we stop and have breakfast at Peter’s Cafe in Millbrae. It is good ol’ American diner decor and fare. After globetrotting all year, it cements the fact that we are once again on real American soil. It feels, and tastes, good! We make sure to go on empty bellies, because the portions are huge. Our favorite dish is the special German Pancake. It takes 30 minutes to make, so we wait with our bitter American coffee served in the generic diner mug. It calls out to us, “Jim and Corinne…You are home!”
Find Peter’s Cafe at 10 El Camino Real Millbrae, CA 94030. Phone (650) 697-2434. You can drive or if you are in the San Francisco airport, take the BART to the Millbrae station. It’s right on the corner! How easy is that?
As I’ve said in many posts. I love to get tips like these from other bloggers, so I hope you enjoy our tip. Please let us know of some of your favorites!
