Landscape – Six Mile Lake

The best time to take photographs is while the sun is coming up or going down, and in Alaska there is the added bonus of that being when the animals are out and about too. The day I took this shot, we came across some beaver, some mother moose with her twins, a shy porcupine, and all kinds of water fowl. Unfortunately it just doesn’t take long enough for the sun to go down to capture it all. I love how the sun is shining on all of the float planes.
